I had to go back in to make sure she hadn't fallen in the bathroom. We got to the car only to find we had lost my mother. I told her now she was getting the tip she deserved. As my parents were slowly making their way to the door, both using walkers, the waitress came back yelling at me, with the entire restaurant watching and called me a liar. She yelled, 'I see NO TIP on the table!' and stormed off.
That waitress came over with the credit card receipt demanding to know where her tip was. He was going to get his wallet out of his back pocket and leave cash for a tip. When it was time to leave, my mom and I were standing, waiting for dad, who was trying to scoot out of the big booth. I always leave cash at the table so the waitress is less likely to be taxed on that tip.
I paid the bill using a credit card and did not leave a tip on the card. I had to hunt her down for the bill and to-go boxes. The only time we saw her again was when she brought the food. She ran off before we could finish ordering, so we never got any drinks. When she came to take our orders she had a very sour look on her face. We were seated by a very unfriendly waitress who didn't get us menus for several minutes.
